should definitely visit Egypt!! Hurghada in Egypt is the place
for it!!
Hurghada in Egypt, is one of the
best places for diving.
This city founded in the early 20th century, and until recently was a small fishing village. However, from 1980s it has been continually enlarged by Egyptian and foreign investors making it the leading coastal resort on the Red Sea.
Holiday resorts and hotels provide water sport facilities for windsurfers, kitesurfers, yachtsmen, scuba divers and snorkelers. This city is also known for its nightlife and warm weather. Many Europeans head to Hurghada , specially during the Winter season and spend their Christmas and New Year holidays in the city. Yet, Russian tourists dropped drastically after the Metrojet Flight 9268 plane crash in November 2015.

Once, the
land of the Pharaohs, beetles, incestuous gods and slaves, the modern

Pyramid of Giza which like many other pyramids were built

the Great Pyramid is one of the largest wonders of the ancient world
and has led to much controversy over exactly how it was made.

Sphinx a 66 foot replica of the mythological creature. These two
landmarks have become synonymous with Egypt.
Another must
visit destination in Egypt is Egypt’s leading port and transportation hub- Alexandria.
Founded in 331
BC by Alexander the Great, this city was known as the crossroads of the
world. Today the city is a faded shade of its former glorious cosmopolitan
self, but still worth a visit for its many cultural attractions and glimpses of
its past.
"Pompey's
Pillar", a Roman triumphal column, is a well known ancient
monument still standing in Alexandria.
It is
located on Alexandria's ancient acropolis; a modest hill located adjacent
to the city's Arab cemetery. It was originally part of a temple colonnade.
It is special since it is made out of a single piece of granite.
Vacationers
come to the city of Siwa Oasis to enjoy its many freshwater
springs, to stroll through palm groves and to explore ancient mud-built
fortresses and remnants of Siwa’s Greco-Roman past.
Siwa
Oasis remained culturally isolated till the 19th century. Today, Siwa Oasis is
an increasingly popular travel destination.
Another famous place in Egypt for travellers is a mid-sized city located
north of Lake Nasser- Aswan.
Although its monuments are minor compared to Luxor’s, Aswan
is the base for excursions to the temples.
Next, Cairo; at the world-renowned Egyptian
Museum of Tahrir Square, visitors can get a close-up view of the treasure
of Tutankhamun as well as mummies and other artifacts from Egypt’s ancient
past.
One of
the best places to visit in Egypt, is city of Luxor. It has much to offer the
traveler.
From the
ancient temples of Karnak and Luxor, to the ancient royal tombs of the Valley
of the Kings and Queens, and spectacular desert and river scenery.
The pyramids, together with the Sphinx at the base of the
Giza plateau, are the iconic image of Egypt. Along with these major
monuments are a number of smaller satellite structures, known as queen
pyramids, causeways and temples.These are at Giza Necropolis.
